The Third World Independent Film Festival celebrates established and emerging filmmakers from third world countries and filmmakers from developed countries whose topics deal with issues of the third world. The festival provides a platform to introduce their films to the broadest possible audience.

TWIFF is an advocate of social change.


Mission and Objective

The festival celebrates filmmakers worldwide whose topics deal with issues of the third world. The festival promotes awareness to social issues, helps gain a deeper understanding and greater respect for different cultures, and provides a platform for filmmakers to introduce their films to the broadest possible audience.
